Would You Rather is the quickest icebreaker there is: two options, pick one, explain yourself. Played out loud, the loudest people answer and everyone else nods along. Played here, everyone picks privately at the same time, so the reveal shows what the room really thinks.
How to play Would You Rather online
- Create a free room and share the link. Nobody needs an account or a download, and it works on phones and laptops.
- A question appears with two options, for example "be able to fly" or "be able to turn invisible".
- Everyone taps one at once. Your pick locks in straight away and stays hidden until the reveal, so nobody can follow the crowd.
- The reveal shows the split as percentages, such as "62% would rather fly". Four questions make a round.
Scoring
- 200 points when you pick the side most of the room picked.
- 100 points each when the room splits exactly 50/50.
- No points if fewer than two people answered: one answer is not a room to read.
Scoring the majority side turns a list of questions into a game. You still pick for yourself, but you also start guessing how everyone else thinks, and the best conversations come from the person who keeps landing on the losing side.
Needs at least 3 people. Bots sit this one out, because a random bot answer would decide close splits.
Built for big groups
Everyone answers every question at the same time, so 300 people at an all-hands take exactly as long as five friends on a call. The reveal shows the percentage and the number of people on each side, which is the moment a big room reacts.
